Smile

I couldn't fit the whole rainbow in one shot, so I did it in two instead.

Little Volunteer

This is just a little sunflower, blooming near our bird feeder. The birds didn't get this seed!

Ds (10) created and painted this at the local library, as a part of their "Be Creative" summer reading program.

Queen Anne's Lace

Click on this image to really "see" it. The dark spot in the picture is the central flower. (The existence of the central flower is also how you know it's Queen Anne's Lace, instead of Poison Hemlock.) This is a picture of just one plant, complete with ants. ;)

Coyote

This feller showed up around dinnertime in our backyard. He was only there for a few moments, so I'm glad I was able to get a shot at him. ;)

Coco Chanel Mademoiselle

She came back! We fell in love with this kitty when she briefly visited us last winter. She's a mystery... we don't know where she came from, and we don't know where she goes, but she is a timid, affectionate, and petite cat. (Especially when compared to our large, mangy, smelly stray cat.) Dh has named her Coco Chanel Mademoiselle.
